Holmes Blows Save in Ninth as Mariners Come Back to Beat Yankees
After entering the seventh on the wrong side of a no-hitter, New York erased a two-run deficit with a three-run frame.

Clay Holmes (0-1) came in for the eighth inning Friday with the top of the lineup. In 2022, his All-Star year with the Yankees, he had 20 saves but also five blown saves.
The Mariners tied the game in the eighth on a Julio Rodriguez RBI single and a wild pitch. They won it in the ninth on a Ty France RBI single.
Holmes has now blown two saves in three appearances this season. The Yankees are now 4-4 on the season.
